About
As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it is important to invest my time in understanding your goals before you invest your money. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. I can also help with your retirement savings strategy to help you have more options when you retire. My goal is to help your family organize and simplify your financial lives.
I earned my degree in finance from Emporia State University. I began my Edward Jones career in 1999 as a financial advisor in Emporia. In addition, I have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. I was named to the Forbes|SHOOK® Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in Kansas in 2025 and 2026.*
My wife, Ali, and I have a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Carson. We are involved in their academic and athletic activities. As lifelong Emporia residents, we have strong community ties, including serving on the Emporia City Commission and as past chairman of the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce.
My registered branch associate, Lisa Maxfield, has eight years of experience. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible, which includes answering questions regarding your account statements and other general activity. Please don't hesitate to call her.
My branch office administrator, Michelle Margeson, joined our team in May 2026. She is quickly getting up to speed and can handle many service questions you may have.
I would like to help provide answers to your questions so you can make informed, financially sound decisions. Please contact me to discuss your situation and options.
